Antelope Valley Ultimate is a group of guys (and
an occasional woman) that enjoys the friendly competition and exercise
that Ultimate Frisbee affords. We've been playing since about mid-1993
and have anywhere from 8 to 20 players on any given day, ranging in age from early twenties
to mid-forties. Most of us work at Edwards AFB, either for the Air Force, NASA, or associated contractors.
Also, we're mostly from Lancaster and Palmdale; however, some have come as far away as Ridgecrest and Wrightwood!
We play in
Lancaster, California on the southeast field
at
Tierra Bonita school
(corner of Lancaster Blvd. and 30th Street East) on Saturdays when we have enough that
say they can play (at least 8). Click

NOTE: Players are asked each Wednesday via email if they can play that Saturday. When we get at least 8, we turn the day green; otherwise, we turn it red by Friday night (we decide on a week-by-week basis).
