Ridgecrest Challenge II 11/11/2006 When:Games begin at 2PM Saturday (arrive around 1:30 to warm up). Bring a light and dark shirt!
Where: Lancaster, CA at Tierra Bonita park at 30th Street East and Lancaster Blvd. (see Map below).
NOTE: Barbeque at Lester and Dave's house (1517 East Ave. J6 in Lancaster) immediately afterwards! Click here for map.
Boeing Challenge III 1/21/2006 When:10AM to 1PM (but show up earlier to warm up)
Where:Northridge Recreation Center, 18300 Lemarsh St., Northridge, CA 91325

Directions from Lancaster:
1. Take the 14 south to 405 South.
2. Exit Devonshire St.
3. Right on Devonshire, continue traveling west approx. 3.5 miles.
4. Left on Etiwanda Ave. (at the Northridge Police Station on the left), continue for about one block. You will see the park at the end of this street.
5. Left on Lemarsh St., then turn right into the parking lot nearest the Park & Rec. building.
6. Continue driving through the parking lot and down the hill to the parking area next to the playing field. We are playing at the center of the three baseball diamonds.

Other Important tidbits:
- Everyone should bring $3 to cover the cost of renting the field.
- Bring two shirts, one white and one black/dark
- Bring some hydrating fluids and snacks.
- The BBQ has not generated any momentum so it's recommend packing a lunch for yourself.

When:Games begin at 9:30 am Saturday. Please arrive at 8:45 to get your shirt, meet your teammates, and warm up.
Where: Balboa Sports Complex in Encino, CA (same place as previous years, not far from where we play Boeing).
Format: 12 coed teams. Games will be played with 5 men/2 women on the field.
We've got a few people going (Dennis and Clare Reda, Les Cowdry, and Mark Fuller for sure).

Lucky 7's Tournament in Vegas (duh!) 10/23/2004 -

This is the 3rd annual Lucky 7's tournament in Las Vegas. Cost is $195 per 15 person team. We need two women playing at all times (5 - 2 coed). We need to let them know if we're interested by sending a roster to UPA by October 5. For more info, click here.

Boeing Rematch 2/28/2004 Finally, our chance for revenge! We're meeting the Boeing folks at the Panorama Rec Center (8600 Hazeltine) in Panorama City for the much anticpated rematch (and this time we mean business!) :) Bring 3$ to help pay for the park (we have it between 0900 and 1200, cost is $45).

Directions are as follows:
Take I-5 South to the OSBORNE ST exit.
Turn RIGHT onto OSBORNE ST.
Turn LEFT onto COSTELLO AVE.
Turn RIGHT onto GRAMMAR PL.
Turn LEFT onto HAZELTINE AVE.

Try to show up about 0845 so that we can warm up and get started around 0900 and bring a light and a dark shirt.

Update: Revenge was sweet! Thanks to Adam, Brian, Chris, Dan, Lester, Mark, Steve, Tim, and Todd we spanked 'em! :) Also, Dave was there to lend support (he's still not quite recovered from his Ski Boarding lesson!)
